Take photographs up close to achieve a significant amount of abstraction without entirely losing context.
Many of the photos for this project were taken inside, with household objects. Imaginary Eyes plays with depth of field, capturing details of fur while keeping a strong focus on the stuffed animal’s eye. The photo emanates a feeling of dashed nostalgia, as if the stuffed animal is looking towards the owner who abandoned it.
