Develop a title design for an original movie or television show.
The proposed solution is to create a highly cinemagraphic title design for a steampunk tv show. Titles themselves will be 3D rendered and made to look as though they are part of the shot.
Initially, the television show was brainstormed. It was decided to use a steampunk show out of a variety of other options. This show was given a basic plot before the title design was storyboarded. Storyboarding showed the style of shots that were to be developed.
Shots were taken during a single day of shooting. Once gotten, they were brought into Premiere and edited for time. Color effects were applied as a test before certain shots were selected to have text. These selected shots were brought into After Effects.
Research was done on how to produce 3D text and add it into a shot using Cinema 4D and After Effects. Once this research was complete, building this system began. Over the course of four days, the text was produced and integrated. Technical problems were recognized and dealt with, if possible. Finally, these title shots were brought into Premiere once again so that the color effects could be added with text integration.
